Graduated Cylinders for Accurate Liquid Measurements

A graduated cylinder, also known as measuring cylinder, is a lab tool used to measure amounts of liquid; usually for experiments. It looks much like a test tube except that it has a circular bottom to allow it to stand on its own – meaning you won’t need a holder anymore.

Also, measurements come in different graduations for more accurate readings.

Measuring cylinder dimensions vary which means that you can get several different sizes based on your needs or requirements. A 10-ml. Measuring cylinder is approximately 140 millimeters in length and has an external diameter of about 14 millimeters. Graduation for this size is typically at 0.2 ml. Increments.

A 25-ml. Graduated cylinder can measure about 170 millimeters in length with and external diameter of around 20 millimeters. Graduation is usually at 0.5 ml. Increments. If you wish for a bigger cylinder, there is a 100-ml. Measuring cylinder and this one is about 250 millimeters in length. It has an external diameter of 31 millimeters and graduation is at 1 ml. Increments.
